PhD in Linguistics from the University of São Paulo, with post-doctoral degrees in Comparative Linguistics from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and in Etymology from the University of São Paulo. Professor of Historical and Comparative Linguistics and researcher at the Research Centre in Etymology and History of the Portuguese Language of the University of São Paulo. Author of the books Léxico e Ideologia na Europa Ocidental (Lexicon and Ideology in Western Europe), Anatomia da Cultura (Anatomy of Culture), O Universo da Linguagem (The Universe of Language) and Uma Breve História das Palavras (A Brief History of Words), as well as the DVD O Indo-Europeu e as Origens da Linguística (Indo-European and the Origins of Linguistics), and columnist for Língua Portuguesa magazine from 2006 to 2015.

Passionate since adolescence about the study of languages ​​and the history and geography of Western countries. Even more passionate about the astonishing analogies I discover as I delve deeper into this study.
